All of the NGOs and volunteer groups listed below have passed Nourish Bangladesh's rigorous vetting process, and we take great pride in the incredible work they do.

BDesh Foundation is a well-known and respected US-based NGO operating in both Bangladesh and the United States. They are one of the few Nourish Bangladesh vetted implementers that work in the Rohingya refugee camps. Their projects are multifacted including dry food distribution, eye-cataract removal, WASH projects, and etc.

Bidyanondo operates in all districts of Bangladesh and focuses on the hunger crisis. Widely popular in Bangladesh for their "ek takar ahar" (one take meal) project, Bidyanondo is one of our most cost effective implementers. They directly purchase food from importers and distribute it themselves. Most of their staff are volunteers, allowing the organization to maintain a remarkably low overhead cost (around 3%).

Jaago Foundation means “wake-up” in Bengali. This is the mission of the JAAGO Foundation: to mobilize Bangladeshi youth to build a more sustainable future. Jaago has a fairly wide reach in Bangladesh, with their established network of schools, along with volunteers in 32 districts. A big promoter of youth volunteerism, Jaago is most known for bringing education to underprivileged Bangladeshi children.

Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) is a well-known Bangladeshi non-profit organization focusing on building the capacities of people to demand basic services and their fundamental rights. MJF passes on the entirety of funds provided to them by NB as cash support to three marginalized groups: people with disabilities, sex workers, and the Hijra/transgender communities.

Thrive was founded in 2012 by three expatriated moms living in Bangladesh. Their mission is to provide nutritious food to underpriviledged school children and their families (they also have an operation in the Philippines). Their work with 10 different schools in the slums of Dhaka and in surrounding areas.

Azdani Bari and her volunteer group work with the underprivileged students of Gawair Nobin Government Primary School in Dhaka, as well as other school children in the area. Azdani plans her relief pakages carefully, with particular attention to the needs of children such as nutrious food to help them grow and flourish. Azdani Bari works as an senior program specialist at BRAC International and has a long history of volunteering on her spare time.

Mithun Das Kabbo and his team of volunteers operate in most districts of Bangladesh and focuses on a multitude of projects. He also runs the non-profit Alokito Shishu and has won many accolades for his volunteer work. Having been active throughout Bangladesh since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, they can combine the operational competency of an NGO with the energy and commitment of grassroots volunteers.

Muhtasim Zisan leads a group of volunteers and operates mostly in north bengal which is arguably the poorest region of Bangladesh. He is a student of Environmental Science at Khulna University and runs a non-profit volunteer organization called Cholo Swapno Chui (“Let’s Touch Dreams”). Muhtasim and his team of volunteers have won many accolades including the ‘Dhaka Youth Club International’ Bravery Award.

Tahmid Hasan and his team of volunteers operate all across Bangladesh focusing on a multitude of projects. He also runs the widely popular non-profit Pasche Achi Initiative. Having been active throughout Bangladesh since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, they work with economically disadvantaged population including the transgender communities, senior citizens, gypsy communities, indigenous population, tea workers, street children, physically challenged people, and climate change displaced population.
